I don’t know about you, but most of us are too busy to eat breakfast. Not to sound cliché but it is good practice to eat breakfast for a healthy start to your day. Eating breakfast personally gives me an energy boost to start off my day on the right note.
My breakfasts are usually big and they can last me till 1pm -2pm depending on the time I eat.
Do you have to eat first thing in the morning? Absolutely not!!! One size does not fit all… I personally believe breakfast can be anytime between the time you wake up and when you can have a 5 minute sit down before 11am or even after… For example nurse who who was on the night shift and ho probably ate dinner during the night will not necessarily eat breakfast at 9am in the morning. I reckon she will stll be in bed.
If you have the on the go type of lifestyle, preparing your meals before hand comes in really handy.

Made from oats and banana. Oat muffins are perfect yummy breakfast on the go.
Yam and egg stew
Yam is widely eaten by African. Full of fiber and water. Very filling as well. A single serving of Yam and egg keeps you full for a long while. I like to eat yam when If I have a long ahead.
Yoghurt, strawberry, almond slices and grapes. You can serve it layered in a tub or start with yoghurt as base and top with the fruits and almond for a perfect breakfast on warm days.
Sweet potato & egg omelet
This is one of my favorite recipes. Perfect for days you are craving something sweet for breakfast. The boiled sweet potato had a different taste to the egg.
Apple cinnamon oatmeal
A serving of fruit, fiber and spice is just what you need to start your day right. For a balanced meal, add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds or milled flaxseed.
