Well, I have not always been fat. When I was about 20 years old I concluded that if I wanted to stay slim, I had to deprive myself of food and in addition, drink laxatives to take out the ones I eventually ate. Well, you know what they meant in today’s world. When I started a family I just could not keep the weight off no matter what I did. My old method seemed to have failed me and was no longer effective.

By the time I had my second child I was somewhat depressed, angry, frustrated and at the end of my tether. I finally gave in to the evident fact that my dieting days were over and I needed to change my lifestyle.

Yes, I had to change my lifestyle – that was the saving phrase I had subconsciously been waiting years to embrace!

From my personal experience, I discovered that losing weight goes way beyond just a “diet”. It has to be accompanied by life style changes needed to yield real practical result and put a final stop to a life of one failed diet after another.
