Bunmi BanwoWell, I have been in your shoes and I am still threading a similar path. Believe me; I have tried lots of diets. For years I battled with an eating disorder which I never even knew I had. I have been angry with myself, depressed with no confidence whatsoever in myself.

Through all these I always had a pretty face. Everything was bottled up inside of me. Until one day I said to myself “ENOUGH”… after reading a friend’s blog. That day marked a turning point in my life and I have never looked back.

Why am I the best person for you?

I am a mum of 2, a certified Personal trainer and Nutritionist with a full time job and a business. We all know it is not easy to juggle life, kids, a career / business and the home. Then add weight loss!!! It is a roller coaster for sure.

This is why I have created this club to help moms and women simplify this process and to give you a helping hand so you don’t have to do it alone. I want you to feel amazing about yourself every single day.

I have helped lots of women to achieve their weight loss dreams that they never thought was possible. I am not going to lie to you that it will be easy, but it can be done.

I had believed that because I was born big at birth, I would stay big the rest of my life. That mentality stuck until I made a conscious decision to give change one last shot. I had been very insecure and had zero confidence. I also suffered bullying and got called names that directly ridiculed my size. I got so tired of being taunted and so I decided I would start sticking up for myself; unfortunately it had a negative effect so that I became the one with the nasty attitude.

However, August 2013 was the day my life changed completely. I got introduced to IAMTAD CLUB by a friend; and now I can proudly say with the help of Bunmi Banwo and her resilient coaching skills, I have lost 21kg. What a dream come true – I could never have visualised it for real.

To any woman out there who thinks weight loss to be impossible, please take a cue from my story. It is very possible to attain your desired weight without drugs, supplements or surgery. As my coach would say, it is a lifestyle, adopt it because YOU ARE MORE THAN A DIET.


After the birth of my second child (which by the way was by caesarean), I wanted to so much feel and look confident again. After countless attempts at the losing and gaining cycle, I remained desperate to commit to a healthy way of life.

Then I got introduced to Bunmi by a mutual friend. Once I started to work closely with her as my personal coach, I learnt to plan my meals; I ditched processed foods and was amazed at how much I could still eat, enjoy my meals and still lose weight. I learnt to cook healthy, sumptuous meals; train smart and voila! All the weight fell off – amazing!

I must say that staying accountable helps; when you realise you are accountable to someone you always want to work hard not to disappoint them and importantly, yourself.


A fateful August day in 2013 was the happiest day of my life as I now look back in hindsight – this is because it was the day my sister-in-law who resides in the UK, introduced me to the phat2slimclub, and of which she was a part of.  Immediately, I made contact with Bunmi.

She made me keep a diary of my food intakes, daily work -outs and weight . I also learned a lot about good carbs vs bad carbs. I completely changed my diet by introducing more of vegetables, fibre, reduced oil and portion-control.

I found the work-out challenges motivating and I started to see the weight drop off each week.

My confidence has grown since losing weight, and I feel happier about how I look – this is obviously reflected in my day to day life. I really appreciate the support and encouragement and of cause the “scolding” which I got when I did go off track.

I achieved my weight goal of 60kg in 6months, but I still consider myself a work-in-progress because I have to remain focused to maintain it. It is easier because Bunmi taught it as a way of life rather than some sort diet program.

I am most grateful to the lovely women in the club and most especially to Bunmi for making me a confident woman who no longer has to hide in baggy clothes – I am now a yummy mummy!

You can ask any questions in this forum knowing you will get honest answers from people that have been in the same shoes or are currently walking in the same shoes. We share recipes, laugh with you when you laugh and we hold your hand when you need a friend. It doesn’t get better than this.
